Welcome to my blog!

If you're anything like me, when you go travelling you probably come home with a load of photos, ticket stubs, leaflets/brochures etc. that you've collected during your journey.  I always have good intentions of preserving these as memory keepsakes but never quite know what to do with them so they just end up in my memory box.

Whilst on Pinterest the other month, I accidentally came across some amazing pictures of traveler's notebooks.  They're a cross between a scrapbook and journal but in miniature size.  The idea is you can pop one in your handbag and scrap 'on the go'.  There are lots of different manufacturers selling these in various sizes and with varying price tags.  I love the fact you can customise these until your heart is content but as with scrapbooking, the pennies can soon add up in buying supplies so the trick is to keep them simple but effective.

Anyway, after a lot of research I've decided to take the plunge and buy one of these traveler's notebooks.  I'll share my purchase with you in future blogs, including the reasons for my choice of brand and hopefully you'll follow my blog to see it come to life.

I'm a firm believer in 'make, don't buy' (if you can help it!) so I'll also share my tips on how you can make your own journalling supplies, including the foamrian flowers in my blog image above.  I hope you like them.
