Shopping Trip to London

Happy Easter bank holiday! My daughter and I went on a shopping trip to central London this weekend and if you're ever in the Covent Garden area, I would highly recommend a visit to The London Graphics shop. It has an amazing choice of paper pads and writing instruments for any level of artist. I picked up a Rodia dot pad and a couple of pens, a Blackwig pencil and a watercolour notebook.

This is my first Edding calligraphy pen and it's definitely a lot easier to control than a Tombow (as you can tell from my practice above). It'd read several articles suggesting the Rodia pad and whilst I was a bit dubious, I have to agree it's fantastic. The ink didn't bleed through the paper and the pad I picked up is a very convenient size to throw in to my handbag. Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday!
